AIRDROZ BMX STREET BATTLE 2022

In conjunction with "GLAMboyant" Kampong Gelam Grand Prix Season Singapore  Precinct Activation 2022, we bring you " BMX Street Battle 2022 ". Catch the best BMX street riders in the region battling it out on a street course in the middle of Sultan gate road. In addition we will be having BMX Airbag best trick contest showcasing big aerial stunts.Specially catered for the young shredders ,Kids BMX Freestyle cateogry (7 to 12yrs) category.

BMX FREESTLYE KIDS 7-12YRS

• Riders given 2 x 45s Runs
• A buzzer or whistle will sound at the end of 45 seconds. Any tricks not completed within this time will NOT count to the score.
• The Judges will score each run individually according to the Judging Criteria outlined below.
• The Highest scoring run will count to the riders final placing in that Round of Competition
• We are not expecting kids to do "big tricks". Showing simple clean lines with basic bike control including (not limited) to riding ramps and obstacles with confident and skills.

The next score is only used in situations of a tie – where 2 x riders have an identical highest run score, the winner will be determined by who has the higher 2nd run score

BMX STREET OPEN

• Riders given 2 x 1min Runs
• A buzzer or whistle will sound at the end of 1 min. Any tricks not completed within this time will NOT count to the score.
• The Judges will score each run individually according to the Judging Criteria outlined below.
• The Highest scoring run will count to the riders final placing in that Round of Competition
• Top 5 winners will be rewarded with cash prize stated below

The next score is only used in situations of a tie – where 2 x riders have an identical highest run score, the winner will be determined by who has the higher 2nd run score

AIRBAG LANDER BEST TRICK (BMX & MTB)

• A group of 5 riders riders given 3 rounds x 15-20 mins jam session.
• The Judges will score best trick according to the Judging Criteria outlined below.
• The Highest scoring combined best trick will count to the riders final score in Competition.
• TOP 5 Winners will be rewarded with cash prize stated below

Judging Criteria  

The performance of each rider is judged on overall impression including, but not limited to:

Difficulty /Style/ Landings/ Height /consistency /Use of course/ Flow Variety of tricks /Execution /Originality /Control of tricks /Progression /Versatility Bike Control

The overall composition of the runs is most important as the judges evaluate the sequences of tricks, the amount of risk in the routine, and how the rider uses the course. The judges take errors such as falls and stops into consideration.

Helmet is COMPULSORY for all categories

BMX Freestyle Clinics (26-30 Sept 2022)

Register your interest to learn more about BMX Freestyle. Our instructors will guide you with the basics skill and knowledge on riding skatepark obstacles ramps and jumps.

Clinics are open to all ages with minumum age of 7 yrs old. Bikes will not be provided. You are advise to bring your own bmx and safety gears.

Airdroz Airbag Jump Session  (26th-30th Sept 2022)

Get a chance to jump and go big air with Airdroz airbag lander. Session are open to all riders (BMX or MTB) with good knowledge of basic jumps skills. You are to bring your own bikes and safety gears.There will be instructors that will be assisting you during the session.

Airbag jump session : $20 per person
